In the regular year Belek has about 300 sunny days per year! For golf-lovers, Belek offers year-round golf. The temperature rarely goes down the 19°C in the winter, when Summer can be really hot in July-August. Even though it can be quite hot, golfers are still able to fit in an early-morning or late afternoon round of golf.

Most of the Belek golf clubs are located in mature forests, a couple of which are linked to the river and couple are linked to the sea. The forest is a beautiful blend of pine and eucalyptus trees. The air is so fragrant! The Belek golf courses are home to a wide variety of fauna: squirrels, foxes, turtles and different types of birds (herons, owls, storks, woodpeckers, blackbirds, etc.).

In 2008 Belek was awarded the Best Golf Region by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) for premium features such as the the first illuminated golf course in Europe.
