Hi, there! I'm Alexandra.

I've been living in Turkey since 2011 and before that, I lived in Egypt for 8 years. So I can assure you that Turkey and Egypt are very safe countries and Turkish and Egyptian people are absolutely friendly and welcoming. It is quite easy to settle in both of my beloved countries. Especially when you have someone to guide you each step of the way.

I am here to share my experience as an ex-pat living abroad for over 20 years as well as my passion for history and nature. And if you are thinking of moving to a sunny place such as Turkey or Egypt,  I hope my articles will help you to make up your mind.
